If you've been with us for any of the previous courses you'll already have a few hits from the Kinks, the Beatles,  the Stones and one or two timeless hits up your guitar playing sleeves. The format is the same, we check out the beat,  the rhythm and strum patterns and chord and lyric sheets are provided. As usual we will branch out into the occasional lead run to link the chords together and talk about any unorthodox chords ( I have plenty of those! ) and alternate ways of playing tricky chords.   You need to know your basic chords and we'll play the songs as a group, sing them, harmonise them, wish them happy new year and place them lovingly into our collective repertoires.
